Focus on the Blessings,

Not the Burdens:

A Spiritual Reset for the Soul

There comes a point in every journey when we must make a choice:

Will we anchor ourselves to the weight of our burdens, or will we rise with the blessings that are already flowing around us?

Life will always present challenges. Storms will come. Valleys will appear out of nowhere. And yes—sometimes the journey could be easier. But the truth is simple:

Where we place our focus determines the direction of our life.

If we spend our energy replaying what went wrong, we create a cycle where things keep going wrong. My mother often asks me, “What is the definition of insanity?” And the answer, always, is:

Doing the same thing over and over, expecting different results.

We hold the power to change the pattern.

Blessings Over Burdens

Talking about the triggers, annoyances, or the people who aren’t aligned with our purpose?

That’s easy.

But make it a habit to talk about the blessings more than the burdens. What we speak grows. What we feed becomes our reality. Shift the focus, and the results will shift with it.

Did it happen? Yes.

Does it have to continue? Absolutely not.

A Valley That Became Preparation

2025 has been a valley—a deep, stretching wilderness I wouldn’t wish on even the worst soul.

But I’m not upset. I hold no regrets.

Every stab, every poke, every stone thrown in my direction was a lesson. A preparation. A sharpening of spirit for what comes next.

I’m grateful for every tear, every ignored scream, every dark moment.

Because it was in the darkest moments that I felt the light.

In the moments I thought I was alone, God whispered, “It’s all for purpose, my angel.”

What was meant to break me made me wiser.

What was intended to humiliate me only illuminated my light.

The false narratives, the whispers, the attempts to distort my truth— those became the sparks that ignited my power.

Before the reset, we must be broken open.

Before the rise, we must be stilled.

Before the expansion, we must surrender.

Losing Myself to Find Myself

I’ve been stuck in a pattern of self-sabotage—drowning in a sea of red, fighting for air, unaware that salvation was already around me.

For months I kicked, screamed, and flailed. I fought against the current of blessings that were trying to find me. The souls God sent—hands reaching out—stood patiently, lovingly, waiting for me to stop fighting and simply trust.

In the stillness, I found my strength.

In the silence, I found my voice again.

The stones meant to shatter me? God shielded me from each one.

My light remained. And with every word I write, it grows brighter.

I had literally lost my voice—unable to form sentences, unable to speak with clarity. But the moment I released the struggle, the sea of red parted. I could breathe again. I could hear again. I could see the angels—living and spiritual—who had been beside me the entire time.

My focus cleared. My clarity returned.

And I remembered who I am—

and more importantly, whose I am.

A Reborn Light

I am love.

I am light.

I am strength.

I am a phoenix rising from depths that nearly took me out.

I am truth.

I am beauty.

I am God’s creation—here with purpose, here with intention, here with divine assignment.

The weight of vicious words and the malice of the ancient shadows—those outdated souls stuck in their own cycles—no longer touch me. Those stones have sunk to the bottom. The chains once melted into my soul have broken.

My aura has returned to its radiant, natural glow.

And I intend to stay this stunning shade of gold—this celestial brilliance meant for those aligned with my light.

Shedding for What’s Next

The last supermoon of 2025 washed me clean.

I shed layers I once clung to—people, stories, identities, expectations, illusions.

2025, the year of the snake, became exactly what I needed:

A shedding.

A release.

A rebirth.

I now see clearly that God’s plan for me is far greater than anything I ever imagined for myself.

I trust His voice.

I honor the light He placed within me.

I walk with my spirit guides.

And I embrace every soul God has intentionally sent to journey with me.

My focus has new life.

My energy has new direction.

My spirit has new breath.

Where your focus goes—energy flows.

And I choose to let my energy flow toward blessings, purpose, love, alignment, and light.

Bold red text on a black background reads "I stayed solid through every storm," conveying strength and resilience.

A Final Word for Those Walking Their Own Valley

If you’re reading this, I want you to know:

You can reset. You can rise. You can redirect your focus today.

Let go of what no longer aligns.

Release the burdens that aren’t yours to carry.

Build boundaries that protect your peace like a sacred fence of light.

Cherish the blessings—not just the big ones, but the quiet ones, the whispered ones, the consistent ones.

You are stronger than the storm.

You are brighter than the darkness.

You are loved, protected, and guided—always.

Focus on the blessings.

Let the burdens fall away.

Your light is needed.

Your purpose is calling.

And your next chapter is already unfolding.
